Back by popular demand for 2025!

We’ll be running trains during the Corn, Tomato, and Beer Festival, hosted by The Flemington Community Partnership, this August, with a shortened ride time and discounted prices to make sure you have enough time to enjoy the festival!

Notes: This train does NOT visit Ringoes Station. If you wish to visit Ringoes Station, check out our classic Black River Limited excursion.

In the event of inclement weather, our Customer Service Manager will reach out to ticketholders regarding transferring Festival Hopper tickets to Sunday, August 11, the festival’s rain date.

Additional Information

What is the festival?

A Farm-to-Festival Celebration of Local Jersey Tomatoes, Sweet Corn, and Craft Beer! This sweet summer event brings local farmers, boutique restaurants, food trucks, 10 craft breweries, live bands, artisans, and kids’ activities together to celebrate everything great about Central NJ in the summertime!

In August, the summer harvest meets the artisan district at Flemington’s Stangl Road, where the Annual Corn, Tomato, and Beer Festival celebrates sweet Jersey tomatoes, heirloom corn, local craft beer, live music, and family activities from noon to 8 p.m.

Attended by thousands, the event offers farm-to-table cuisine and an homage to NJ’s beloved corn and tomato dishes prepared by local restaurants and farmers. It also features a beer garden featuring 10 local New Jersey craft breweries.

Restrooms

Note: Port-a-potties will be available down Stangl Road at the festival site. Restrooms are not available in or near Flemington Station.

Limited restroom facilities are available on board the train for emergency situations only. Ask a member of our staff for assistance.

Power

All departures are powered by one of our vintage diesel-electric locomotives. We reserve the right to substitute motive power at any time for any reason and without advance notice.

Dogs

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are invited to ride the Festival Hopper train at the conductor’s discretion. We do ask that pet parents please make every effort to clean up after their pet for the convenience of our train crew. We recommend bringing a towel for your pet to sit on and other necessary supplies.

Service animals are not considered pets and are permitted in all areas where customers are allowed.
