Volunteer With Us

Interested in fixing track, restoring coaches, or working on train crews? How about planning events, selling tickets, or spreading holiday cheer? No matter your unique interest or talent, there's a role just for you at BR&W Railroad!

We are staffed by a dedicated group of volunteer railroaders, all with "day jobs" that they leave behind every now and then to do their part to keep BR&W running! Whether you can commit to working once per week, once per month, or a few times a year, there's a place for you in our railroad family!

Ready to get started? All of our volunteers are members of the Black River Railroad Historical Trust. Click the button to email Ryan Mack, VP of Membership. Introduce yourself and let Ryan know what your interests are. You'll hear from us within 5-10 days to discuss your new role at BR&W!
