What To Expect

A unique experience for the whole family, presented by BR&W in partnership with WoodsEdge Farm. Here's what to expect!

  • ​Begin at Ringoes Station, where your train departs for a 2.5 mile (15 min) ride to Bowne Station.

  • Board the covered wagon for a short ride to WoodsEdge Farm.

  • At WoodsEdge Farm, meet the animals and explore the WoodsEdge Farm Store. You will have approx. 45 minutes until the wagon takes you back to Bowne Station.

  • Catch the train back to Ringoes; don't forget to visit the museum car!


​WoodsEdge Farm

Our friends at WoodsEdge Farm own and operate this vertically integrated farm that is home to huacaya and suri alpacas, suri llamas and Tibetian yak. The WoodsEdge herds are housed in 4 livestock barns and rotationally graze 28 pastures. The Event Barn is filled with years of trophies and ribbons won by WoodsEdge breeding stock and is home of the WoodsEdge Farm Store featuring products made from hypo-allergenic alpaca & llama.


  • Departs from RINGOES STATION.

  • Age 12+ $18, Age 3-11 $16. Additional $1.50 service fee on all tickets.

  • Guests under age 3 ride FREE, no ticket required.

  • All departures are DIESEL powered.

  • All departures are round-trip.
